Design and Permitting

Design

Headwater Construction can complete the design and permitting of both new and replacement septic systems for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and recreational (i.e., campgrounds or parks) uses.  We have ability to have both standard and state-of-the art septic systems designed and constructed, including unique systems that will work with challenging property configurations.

Our septic system designs are prepared by licensed Professional Engineers with over 30 years of experience in both design and construction.   Our “hands-on” construction experience ensures that our designs:

• Are cost-effective

• Minimize septic system “footprint”

• Use best available technologies

• Protect the environment

Special design considerations include planning for future property changes to allow for:

• Pools

• Cabanas, Sheds, Garages/Workshops

• Building Renovations and Additions

• Addition of Buildings Plumbing Fixtures (i.e., addition of washrooms or kitchens or sinks)

• Addition of a Business or Change in Building Use

Headwaters Construction understands the permitting process for all types of septic systems, and applicable municipal and provincial codes and regulations.  We continually work with:

• Municipalities

• Regions

• Counties

• Conservation Authorities

• Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks

• Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

• Niagara Escarpment Commission

Headwater Construction also routinely works with engineering and environmental consulting firms and can bring expertise to your project to help you through the design and permitting process.
